The 11th Habit

The 11th Habit describes the extraordinary power of human habits to create a difficult-to-copy competitive advantage for companies.

Employees who take care of themselves have the capacity and energy to be high-performance employees. In turn, they help leaders create high-performance companies and thriving workplace cultures. This book shows how to design a company that makes it easy and natural for employees to care for themselves and perform at the highest level.

“WOOOOOOOOF demonstrates how imagery carries cultural memory when guided by historically literate, intentional human authorship. Through close readings of its poems, visual traditions, and allusions to apartheid-era photography, we look at how the book engages inherited trauma and aesthetic lineage without collapsing into mere style imitation." Read the full review by Henrik J Klijn here.

“Open the door to a world charged with meaning and alive with possibility. In WOOOOOOOOF, Andrew Sykes presents a bold, imaginative collection of compositions that trace our restless search for the inner self. Whether confronting the frustrations of parenting or the blurry truths revealed in late-night escapades, Sykes guides us through a mesmerizing dance with our inner demons—one that ends in renewed hope, clarity, and self-discovery. Vibrant, dynamic illustrations amplify the pulse and chaos of each stanza, pulling readers deep into the emotional landscape of the work. Let Woooooooof inspire you to challenge your present—and reimagine your future—through the poetic vision crafted by leadership coach, CEO, and Kellogg professor Andrew Sykes.” - George Bennett NU BA · KGSM MBA · SMU JD

“I love a well-written book, and I have seen some beautiful books, but never anything as spectacular as Andrew Sykes’ WOOOOOOOOF. I honestly had to wonder if my coffee table was nice enough to showcase this work of art disguised as a book. This is Andrew’s first effort to showcase his amazing poetry, and he has paired it with mind blowing art by Ernesto Raul Aguilar. I had the pleasure to meet Andrew when he taught a few of my graduate classes at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. I will never forget when he ended a class with an early poem about his childhood in South Africa holding everyone spellbound, and more than a few of us in tears. I am not well-versed in poetry, but Andrew has a style that is totally unique, and a way to capture a feeling and tell a story that is transformational. Ernesto’s art adds an entirely different element to the experience that elevates it even further. The contents as stated are incredible, but the quality of the book, the paper, the cover, and packaging show an impressive attention to detail that make this an impressive gift as well. I cannot recommend this book enough. Andrew is both a scholar, a thought leader, and and artist with a global perspective. I am sure this collection will both make you think and have all the ‘feels’.”
